Assalamualaikum, I hope this message finds you well.

My name is Heba. I’m from Gaza. My husband and I have two children: a 2-year-old and 10-month-old baby. I am writing with urgency and love for my family: my parents and five siblings, who have been displaced twice within 2 weeks due to repeated evacuation orders. We are still grieving the martyrdom of my brother Adham, who was my best friend, and also of his nephew, Ahmed, my sister’s 3-year-old son. May Allah have mercy on them.

My father has heart failure and pulmonary edema: water is filling his lungs, his heart was last functioning at 25%. Over the past year, he has become paralyzed in one leg. Their only access to food is canned goods and unclean water, which is causing his blood sugar to drop to life-threatening levels.

And STILL, the crossings are closed: there is no way out.

They are surrounded by grief, danger, and isolation. Aid has officially been allowed but the entire Gaza strip is in deep siege. The “aid centers” are so dangerous my parents do not allow my brother to go to them. My 7 year old sister Sham has developed severe anemia and malnutrition. She is severely underweight and her skintone and eyes are beginning to yellow.

My brother has damaged cartilage in his back and his legs. He is the only one with the physical capability to assist my family.

My sisters need feminine products. This is not something that I can ignore.

A bag of flour can range from $200-600, the price changes per hour. I cry when I eat because I know they can’t. I can’t drink water.

Even when I send $1000 to them through donations, only about $550 reaches their hands due to commission deductions between 30-40%. That means every dollar truly counts. There is no margin for error when it comes to survival.

One of my siblings was told April 29, 2025, that they may have a tumor in their brain. They are now undergoing tests in the middle of a war zone, with no secure medical access, no electricity, and no rest.

And still, she told me:

“I miss them. They want me to stay strong.”

We’ve been separated for two years. My parents and siblings have never met my baby daughter, separated by war. I ache every day hoping they live long enough to hold her.

This fundraiser began as a way to save my father’s life. Now, it is about saving all of them. The cost of food has increased over 200%. Medicine is vanishing. Food is nearly impossible to access. Tents are being destroyed by fires and bombing. Children are fainting from hunger and dying of malnutrition.

My father is on the waitlist to be evacuated for medical treatment (STILL AS OF 8/8/25). Food, medication, nutrients, travel, displacement takes every bit of support that you have given to my family.. and I will never forget that you still stand with us 2 years later.

Please: if you can, donate, share, and pray. You are making a difference in lives that never deserved this. Every act of compassion is a tool of safety for them.

May Allah reward you for your mercy, and may He protect all of us.
