Hi Everyone,

My name is Andrew and I have been diagnosed with Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnoea. I’m at risk of an accident, or worse, death, from suffocation in my sleep without a C-PAP Machine. This is a medical device that will be worn, whilst I sleep, that will help to force oxygen into my lungs and ensure I do not stop breathing and die while I sleep.

I was falling asleep while reading, watching TV and movies, and also while babysitting my 5 year old niece. I have become a danger around the house and work place. It’s for this reason I decided to see my local doctor, who then referred me to a sleep specialist.

Unfortunately I don’t have the funds, or means of attaining the funding needed for this life saving medical equipment my Specialist has recommended I get as soon as possible.

The below link is a copy of my Specialists recommendation. I have omitted some information for privacy.

Thank you to everyone who has been so kind to open your heart and pocket to help me attain the goal of $1,600 to buy this life saving piece of medical equipment. My CPAP Machine.

If you have severe leep apnea, you should be able to get a machine from enable nsw through your cpap specialist as I did

I am not eligible for enable nsw there is certain criteria you have to meet for that government assistance

I have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnoea, and have been able to arrange a new cpap machine from enable NSW through my sleep specialist for a one off payment of $100

Yes but you have certain criteria to be eligible and I am not eligible under that criteria Like require to be a on a pension and to hire a machine buy your own mask have 2 weeks of readings at 4 hours a night minimum for those 2 weeks Continue hire till government machine turns up I am no eligible and can’t afford it this my last choice
