(English / 日本語) Please support a 17 year old in Gaza bring water to his community

In early 2024, Mohammed made a water pumping system using donations mainly from a few Japanese donors who cared for his idea.

Since then, every day except Friday, he and his team moves 4-5 places in central Gaza to pump up water from wells and provide them for free (the community has been supporting by gathering money and equipments for reparing)

We need $53,650 in total by the end of 2024

Below are the breakdown of the expenses, in order of priority. Please understand that Gaza is facing massive inflation due to unavailability of SUPPLIES and CASH.

1. Generator: 7,500 USD

The team used solar panels, but as winter approaches, we need a generator to procure enough electricity to keep the pumps moving

2. Transportation of equipments: 20,000 USD

50 USD per move due to gasoline and renting necessary vehicles x 5 times a day x 80 days (Oct-Dec excl. Friday).

3. Water Hose and Tank: 6,300 USD + 5,000 USD

3 USD x 700 meters x 3. Water hoses and 2,500 USD x 2 tanks. The hoses become warn out every month as they are placed in rough ground of concrete and debris.

4. Emergency: 1,000 USD

Whenever there is a emergent need of evacuation or repair, the cost will be used (this has happend twice in the past year due to sudden air raids and evacuation orders)

5. Salary: 3,120 USD

10 USD x 4 people x 80 days. So far the team has been offering the survice almost freely, working in turns in different jobs between shfts. If we can manage enough donations, we can help the team suppor their own family, and not create even more Funding projects.

6. Transaction fee: 10,730 USD (25%) Due to the lack of cash in Gaza, there are a few places where physical currency exists. Furthremore, those who have physical currency request commission fee to support their own family too. The current rate is hovering around 25%. If the currency becomes lower we will add it on to the items above.

2024年初頭、モハメッドは主に日本の数人の支援者からの寄付を使って給水システムを作りました それ以来、ほぼ毎日、ガザ中央部の4〜5カ所を移動しながら、無料で井戸から水をくみ上げています（地元の方々は修理のための資金と機材を集めてくださっています） ‍♀️

2024年末までに合計53,650ドル（約780万円）が必要です 以下、優先順位順の経費の内訳です。物資と現金の不足により、ガザではインフレが深刻化していることをご理解ください。

1. 発電機：7,500ドル これまでは太陽光パネルを使用していましたが、冬が近づくにつれ、ポンプを動かすのに十分な電力を確保するために発電機が必要になります。

2. 機材の輸送：20,000ドル ガソリン代と必要な車両のレンタル料で1回の移動につき50ドル × 1日5回 × 80日間（10月〜12月、金曜日を除く）。

3. 給水ホースとタンク：6,300ドル + 5,000ドル 3ドル × 700メートル × 3。給水ホースと2,500ドル × 2台のタンク。ホースはコンクリートやがれきの荒れた地面に設置されるため、毎月摩耗します。

4. 緊急対応：1,000ドル 緊急の避難や修理が必要な場合に使用します（過去1年間に突然の空襲や避難命令により2回発生しました）。

5. 給与：3,120ドル 10ドル × 4人 × 80日。これまでチームはほぼ無償でサービスを提供し、シフトの合間に別の仕事をしていました。十分な寄付が集まれば、チームが自分の家族を支援できるようになり、さらなる資金調達プロジェクトを作る必要がなくなります。

6. 取引手数料：10,730ドル（25%） ガザでの現金不足により、物理的な通貨が存在する場所は限られています。さらに、現金を持っている人々も自分の家族を支援するために手数料を要求します。現在のレートは約25%です。為替レートが下がれば、上記の項目に追加します。

We bought a generator to pump up the water✨ Thanks to your 3,324 USD donation and from our pockets, we’ve gathered 8,000 USD (10,000+ USD with commission fee) to buy an electricity generator to pump out the water. Here’s an episode we got today from Mohammed –

“There is a widow who has no one to help her she is 50 years old so I turned on the water for her. She was very happy because she hadn’t had water for weeks she had to carry a small 4 liter water bottle on her own over and over.
